While at Fleet, Elliott was responsible for growing the Institutional Asset Management businesses for more than a decade. He oversaw the sales, marketing, and business development areas focused on endowment, foundations and retirement plan assets. He assisted in the integration of the Columbia and Liberty Asset Management acquisitions, as well as a host of smaller bank acquisitions.
